NEW YORK, NY - The final Golf World/NIKE Golf Division I Coaches' Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions II, III and the NAIA, will appear in the November 22 issue of Golf World.  Oklahoma State remains the number one team in the poll, earning 16 of the 18 first-place votes.  With victories in the Golfweek/Ping Preview and the Jack Nicklaus Invitational, along with two other top-five performances, Oklahoma State kept its claim to the No. 1 spot in the final Division I coaches' poll of the fall.

The Cowboys garnered 13 of the 22 first-place votes; they had been ranked No. 1 in each of the three previous polls.

Moving into the No. 2 spot is UCLA, who capped its fall season with a come-from-behind victory at the Gifford Collegiate. The Bruins started the final round of the event 11 strokes off the place only to win by 13 shots. It was their first win in three starts after finishing second in the Preview and the U.S. Collegiate.

Florida dropped one spot to No. 3. The Gators finished T-3 at the Isleworth Collegiate after winning the Fighting Illini and finishing second at the Jerry Pate. Senior Bank Vongvanij was medalist at Isleworth and finished the fall with a 69.67 average.

Rounding out the top-five are Alabama (No. 4) and Georgia Tech (No. 5).

LSU (No. 8) and Iowa (No. 9) jumped into the top-10, after being ranked T-13 and No. 11, respectively, in the previous coaches' poll.

USC (No. 22) and Wake Forest (No. 25) moved into the top-25.
