FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 4, 2016) – Through the auspices of the Friends of Golf (FOG), Colonial Country Club and The Ben Hogan Award Committee are pleased to announce an agreement with Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) to be the presenting sponsor for The Ben Hogan Award. “We are elated to announce our partnership with Konica Minolta,” Dr. Bill Barnes, the co-chairman of The Ben Hogan Award Committee, said. “The Konica Minolta brand truly represents excellence, and the company’s long history with the golf industry makes for a perfect fit for our award.” In accordance with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), The Ben Hogan Award, the most prestigious award in college golf, is presented annually to the top men’s college golfer taking into account all collegiate and amateur competitions during the 12-month period dating from the previous award’s banquet. “Konica Minolta is honored to support the event as a presenting sponsor of the Ben Hogan Award,” says Kevin Kern, senior vice president, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. “This award symbolizes the spirit of philanthropy and achievement that the committee strives to honor each year in the golf community.” Past winners of the award include: D.J.
