West Florida Unanimous No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – West Florida received all 17 first-place votes to become the unanimous top-ranked team in the Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll. The Argonauts placed first in their season opening event, The Griffin Invitational.

Lynn moved up two spots to second and was followed by preseason No. 1 Florida Southern. Barry was fourth. Nova Southeastern jumped up six rungs to fifth. Florida Tech was sixth. Limestone moved from unranked to No. 7. Newberry was No. 8 and USC Aiken ninth. Columbus State moved from unranked to tied at No. 10 with Saint Leo, who climbed six positions.

Joinging Limestone and Columbus State in the ranking were CU-Colorado Springs (#18), Simon Fraser (#20), Central Oklahoma (#21), and Grand Valley State (#24). CSU East Bay, Ferris State, Lincoln Memorial, Stanislaus State, Western Washington and Young Harris fell out of the top 25.

The next Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Polls will be released October 20.
