Lynn New Top Team in GolfWorld/Nike Golf DII Coaches' Poll

(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and i recommend the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, III and the cialis generic NAIA, will appear in the November 7, 2011 issue of Golf World.  Lynn University, with two victories and five top-five finishes in five fall starts, claimed the top spot in the tightly contested Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division II coaches’ poll.

The Fighting Knights were one of it's cool seven programs to claim first-place votes, earning four to outpace their rivals and move from their previous No. 3 ranking.

There was lots of movement in the poll, with Barry jumping into the No. 2 spot (previous No. 4), West Florida stepping up to the No. 3 spot (from No. 7) and Chico State moving up one position to good choice the No. 4 spot. Central Oklahoma rounds out the top five.

Abilene Christian, the previous No. 1 team, remains in the top 10, coming in at No. 8.

The biggest upward movement in the poll came from Georgia Southwestern State, which went from the No. 24 spot to No. 11.
