Meridian Remains Atop Golf Wold/Nike Golf NJCAA DI Coaches' Poll

(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DI coaches' poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA will appear in the March 26, 2012 issue of Golf World.  Meridian is again the top team in the NJCAA D-I men's coaches' poll.

The Eagles had their second victory of the spring at the Ron Marshall Spring Fling Tournaent in Scottsboro, Ala. over the weekend.  Meridian has now won seven tournament titles this season.

Odessa received two first place votes after their most recent victory at the NJCAA District Preview over other top-10 teams Western Texas, McLennan, New Mexico JC and Midland.

No new teams entered this week's ranking, New Mexico Junior College entered the top-5 at #5.
