Katie Louis joined the GCAA as Director of Membership Services and Outreach in May 2011. Her primary responsibilities include all facets of the All-America Scholar program, as well as All-America, regional and national awards. Louis also works as the GCAA staff representative with the GCAA/The First Tee partnership.

Prior to arriving at the GCAA, Louis worked at Southern Illinois University as the Director of Special Projects and Group Sales. In this role, her keys tasks included the group ticket sales for football, men’s and women’s basketball and softball, organizing and executing all special events within the athletic department, as well as the development and setup of corporate and group tailgating for Saluki Football. Additionally, she was the broadcast color analysist for SIU Softball. During this time, she also earned her master’s degree in Sport Management in 2009.

Louis, a native of O'Fallon, Ill., graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2006. While at Southern Illinois, she was a member of the Saluki Softball team that won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Championships and participated in four NCAA Regional Tournaments. In 2007, Louis then went on to intern with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) in Cleveland, Ohio.
