The GCAA/WGCA joint virtual National Convention will be held December 1-15. The convention for 2020 will be open to all GCAA and WGCA member coaches at NO CHARGE.
 
Please see attached information about the convention, speakers and how to register (RSVP). There is no cost to RSVP. We are offering this year’s virtual convention complimentary as a benefit of your GCAA membership. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You will receive a separate email that will provide a link to access the convention platform and allow you to register for specific sessions.
 
The convention will include a Virtual Corporate Partners event held over three days. This will give members a chance to connect with our sponsors and see their new products, as well as order items they may need for the Spring. As always, your participation in the Sponsors Expo is crucial for the GCAA. We need every member coach to find time to participate just as you do in Las Vegas. Maintaining our sponsors during the pandemic has certainly been a challenge and they are a key to the continued success of the GCAA.
 
The convention will have a combination of live and pre-produced sessions which allow all coaches to pick and choose what they want to participate in live and ask questions, versus those they watch at a later time. We will again have the USGA Rules seminar as well as updates about amateurism issues (NIL), WAGR changes, and other USGA items. The NCAA Legislative Session will be live and will address what to expect for Spring 2021 and other major topics. The breakout sessions for NCAA Div. I, II, III NAIA and NJCAA will be live and will address the numerous questions on what to expect for Spring 2021.

The key to registering for the convention is to renew your GCAA membership or join as a new member. Membership renewal or new members are required to be completed by November 20, 2020 in order to register for the virtual convention. The GCAA realizes that some schools have frozen budgets until January 1. If this affects you, simply renew or join the GCAA for the 2020-21 school year now and we will provide an invoice for future payment. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
 
*IF YOU DO NOT JOIN OR RENEW MEMBERSHIP BUT TURN IN YOUR CONVENTION REGISRATION, WE WILL TREAT THAT AS YOUR MEMBERSHIP REGISRATION AND SEND AN INVOICE FOR PAYMENT AT A LATER DATE.
 
Please do not be concerned about being available all 15 days and being available to attend all sessions. All sessions will be recorded after showing live and available for you to watch on demand up to one-year after the convention dates through our virtual convention platform hosted by Pathable. However, you need to RSVP now to access these sessions. For head and assistant coaches, you’ll need to separately RSVP as each person’s log in access will be personal to him/her.
