"Hooters of America, Inc., is thrilled to again be the sponsor of such a great event in the college golf community, especially with the addition of the women's tournament this year," stated Mike McNeil, Hooters of America Vice President of Marketing. "We sponsor other sports entities, such as the Hooters National Golf Association Tour, but this event represents a unique opportunity for us to be involved in women's sports. The Collegiate Match Play Championship is a one-of-a-kind tournament in that players are able to experience more of a "team-like" atmosphere. It really is an event players look forward to all year."
