South Carolina-Aiken continues its run as the top-ranked team in men?s Division II golf after picking up 11 first-place votes in the GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll. Hawaii-Hilo - who earned three first-place votes - jumped up 10 spots to second.

Western Washington also soared up the rankings all the way from No.16 to third. Cal. State-Bakersfield remains in fourth despite garnering two first-place votes. West Florida, Cal. State-Stanislaus, Armstrong Atlantic State, UC-San Diego, Florida Gulf Coast and previously unranked Valdosta State round out the top 10.

Chico State dropped third to No. 11 while Saint Martin?s and Central Oklahoma debut in the poll at Nos. 12 and 13, respectively. They are followed by Rollins, Barry, Georgia College & State Univ. and Delta State. Grand Canyon also entered the poll for the first time this season, debuting at No. 18. Coker and Cameron to finish round out the top 20.

Northeastern State comes in at No. 21 while St. Mary?s dropped from No. 11 to No. 22. Florida Southern and St. Cloud State enter the poll at No. 23 and No. 25, respectively, while Columbus State slides in at No. 24.

Carson-Newman, Francis Marion, Lynn, North Alabama and Pfeiffer were dropped from the rankings.

The GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at Division II institutions. All are members of the Golf Coaches Association of America. The next Division II GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll will be released Nov 4.
