Erik Olson - a sophomore from Washington - has been selected to represent the United States at the 30th Annual Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship July 13-15 at Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif. Olson will replace Duke?s Nathan Smith, who is unable to compete in the matches.

The 2005 Pac-10 champion, Olson became the first Husky to win the conference title since 1988 and led Washington to its first league crown since the same year. A first-team All-Pac-10 selection, Olson placed in the top 10 on three occasions this season. One of two Huskies to qualify for every tournament, he led his team in rounds under par this season.
