Team Effort Regional Champions Recognized
NORMAN, Okla. ? By winning their regionals, Wake Forest (East) and Oklahoma State (Central) as well as Arizona and Florida (West) were recognized as the Division I Team Effort Regional Champions. The Team Effort Regional Medalists for Division I were Kevin Chappell of UCLA (East) and Oklahoma State?s Jonathan Moore (Central). Billy Horschel of Florida and Nevada?s Casey Watabu tied for the award in the West regional.
The Division II Team Effort Regional Champions were Cameron (South Central), Winona State (Central), Saginaw Valley State (Great Lakes), Coker and Pfeiffer (Atlantic), South Carolina-Aiken (Southeast), Goldey-Beacom (Northeast), Concord (East), St. Cloud State (Northwest), Florida Southern (South) and CSU-Bakersfield (West). The Division II Team Effort Medalists were Cameron?s Travis Lovins (South Central), Troy Merrit of Winona State (Central), Grand Valley?s Steve Larson (Great Lakes), Dion Sirianni of Lees-McRae (Atlantic), South Carolina-Aiken?s Scott Brown (Southeast), Michael Tobiason of Goldey-Beacom (Northeast), Concord?s Matt Horn (East), Corey Grace of St. Cloud State and Colorado-Mines?s Mark Vallee (Northwest), Will Grace of West Florida (South) and Shane Prante of St. Martin?s (West).
