Immelman Named Eaton Golf Pride National Coach of the Year for Division II

Regional Coaches of the Year Also Named

  

BLAINE, Was. ? Columbus State?s Mark Immelman has been named the Division II Eaton Golf Pride National Coach of the Year.

 

Immelman led the Cougars to three tournament victories this season, as well as a third place finish at the NCAA Championship.  Columbus State was ranked number one in the final two Golf World/NIKE Golf Coaches? Polls of the season.

Immelman was also named as the Southeast Region Coach of the Year.  Joining him as regional coaches of the year were John Cook of CSU-Stanislaus (West), Billy Gamble of North Alabama (South), Wayne State's Mike Horn (Midwest), Dax Johnston of Central Oklahoma (South Central), Fayetteville State's Raymond McDougal (Atlantic), Pete Stevens of Post (East) and CU-Colorado Spring's Phil Trujillo (Central).
