Oglethorpe Still No. 1 in GCAA Division III Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. – Oglethorpe stayed at the top of the rankings in the GCAA Division III Coaches Poll, staying No. 1 in all three fall rankings thus far. The Stormy Petrols claimed five first-place votes.
UT Tyler received nine first-place votes and moved up five spots to No. 2. Methodist held steady at third with two first-place nods. Illinois Wesleyan and Wittenberg swapped places at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. No. 16 Central leads four teams new to the ranking along with Whitworth, Centre and Bethel (MN) who claimed Nos. 19-21.
California Lutheran, Concordia (TX), Greensboro and Transylvania dropped out out of the ranking.
