West Florida New No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – West Florida climbed five spots to take over the No. 1 ranking in the Division II Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Argonauts received eight first-place votes.

Florida schools dominated the top 10 ranking, claiming the top five spots in the poll with five different programs receiving first-place votes. Florida Southern stayed at No. 2 with four-first place tallies while Barry and Lynn received a No. 1 ballot each to rank third and fourth, respectively. Nova Southeastern was fifth. Chico State was sixth with one first-place vote. Preseason No. 1 Saint Leo dropped to seventh, despite four first-place ballots. USC Aiken, Lee and Missouri-St. Louis rounded out the top 10.

Rollins (#15), Valdosta State (#18), St. Mary’s (TX) (#19), Limestone (#T21) and Lander (#23) debuted in the top 25. CU-Colorado Springs, Georgia Southwestern State, Simon Fraser, West Georgia and Wilmington (DE) fell from the ranking.
