Illinois Still No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – Illinois received nine first-place votes to stay No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. It marks the second straight ranking the Illini hold the top spot.

A total of five teams received first-place votes. Second-ranked Oklahoma State garnered four No. 1 ballots and edged No. 3 Vanderbilt, who received seven first-place nods, by one point - 555-554. Fourth-ranked Florida had three and No. 4 Auburn one first-place vote.

LSU was sixth and followed by Virginia and Wake Forest. Big 12 foes Oklahoma and Texas Tech moved into the top 10 at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.

Oregon (#15) and Arizona State (#T25) returned to the top 25 while UNLV (#17), Kent State (#19), Mississippi (#21) and Missouri (#24) made their debuts. Alabama, California, Duke, Georgia Tech and South Carolina fell from the ranking.
