Washington & Lee is Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Poll New No. 1
NORMAN, Okla. - For the first time in the last 11 Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Polls, there is a new top-ranked team. After gaining the program’s first No. 1 ranking on October 16 via Scoreboard powered by Clippd, Washington & Lee received their first-ever Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Poll No. 1 on November 1. The Generals, who broke multiple team records while winning the Golfweek October Classic on October 15, received 10 first-place votes and 274 points in the process.
Methodist (one first-place vote), Illinois Wesleyan, Emory, and Sewanee rounded out the top five, while Oglethorpe, Carnegie Mellon, LeTourneau, Lynchburg, and Huntingdon completed the top 10.
Southwestern (TX) (33 to 12), Guilford (29 to 13), and Sewanee (T-21 to 5) elevated 16 or more spots from October 11.
