Georgia Southwestern closes 2020 as top team in Bushnell Golfweek Division II Poll
NORMAN, Okla. — Georgia Southwestern received 15 first-place votes in the final Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll of the 2019-20 season.
The Hurricanes had quite the year, tallying a total of six victories over the course of the season with their most recent win coming at the Southeastern Collegiate back in March.
Barry ranks second after earning five first-place votes, followed by third-ranked Lynn who received two first-place votes of their own. Columbus State ranks fourth followed by USC-Aiken to round out the top-five.
Arkansas Tech, Lincoln Memorial, West Florida, Lee, and St. Mary’s (TX) all earned a spot in the top-ten.
Rollins (#23) and St. Edwards (#24) both rejoined the ranking, while Limestone and Sonoma State fell from the poll.
