Vanderbilt Maintains Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll’s No. 1 Spot

NORMAN, Okla. - Starting their 2022-23 season with a win in the Frederica Cup and a narrow runner-up finish at SEC Match Play on Tuesday, Vanderbilt retained the No. 1 ranking in the Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll. The Commodores received 14 of a possible 16 first-place votes.

Oklahoma, Stanford, Auburn, and Illinois, who won the inaugural Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich. on Wednesday, round out the top five. Arizona State, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and Florida complete the top 10.

Kansas State, who was unranked in the September 9 poll, makes its first appearance of the season at No. T-21. Others receiving votes include Arkansas, Washington State, San Diego State, Oregon, Mississippi, Colorado State, LSU, North Florida, Lipscomb, Liberty, Louisville, Kansas, Wisconsin, Long Beach State, Mississippi State, Purdue, Baylor, Duke, Illinois State, Utah, Clemson, Little Rock, Charlotte, Kent State, BYU, Ohio State, East Tennessee State, and Southern Miss.
