Illinois Wesleyan Remain No. 1 Team in Bushnell Golfweek Division III Poll

NORMAN, Okla. — Defending national champions Illinois Wesleyan continued their run as the No. 1 team in the second Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll of 2020 after receiving 16 first-place votes.

Emory ranks second after receiving one first-place votes. Huntingdon, Hampden-Sydney, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps round out the top five.

St. Thomas (MN), Gustavus Adolphus, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, and Wittenberg all earn a spot in the top ten.

Illinois Wesleyan returns as No. 1 team in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. — Defending National Champions Illinois Wesleyan return as the #1 team in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll after receiving 18 first-place votes.

Huntingdon moves up one spot to No. 2 while Emory University ranks third after receiving the final two first-place votes. Hampden-Sydney, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps rounds out the top five.

Wittenberg, Methodist, St. Thomas (MN), Washington & Lee, and Carnegie Mellon all earned a spot in the top ten.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire (#14), New York (#18), Babson (#20), Williams (#22), Aurora (#24), and Piedmont (#25), all joined the ranking, while Hope, La Verne, North Carolina Wesleyan, Sewanee, The University of the South, Trinity, and Willamette all fell from the poll.

Emory earns top spot in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. — Emory moved into the No. 1 spot in the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll after receiving 13 first place votes.

Reigning National Champion Illinois Wesleyan dropped to No. 2 with four first place votes, while Huntingdon captured the final three first-place votes and is ranked third. Wittenberg and Guilford round out the top five.

Washington & Lee, Carnegie Mellon, Methodist, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and Concordia (TX) all earned top ten rankings.

Sewanee (#23), and Gustavus Adolphus (#25) enter the ranking for the first time this season while LaGrange, Rhodes, and Wisconsin-Eau Claire all fell from the poll.
