Illinois Wesleyan top team in Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. — Coming off a National Championship run Illinois Wesleyan University will open the 2019-20 season as the No. 1 team in the country after receiving 13 first place votes in the opening Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.
In addition to Illinois Wesleyan, two other teams received first place votes – second ranked Emory (5), and third ranked Huntingdon (1). Rounding out the top ten, Guilford ranked fourth, followed by Methodist, Wittenberg, Carnegie Mellon, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Washington & Lee, and Concordia (TX).
