Georgia Tech climbs to #1 in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

Yellow Jackets move into top spot in the nation.

NORMAN, Okla. — Continuing their way up the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll, Georgia Tech is the new No. 1 ranked team in the country.

The Yellow Jackets received 19 first-place votes, followed by second-ranked Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Pepperdine round out the top-five.

BYU joined the ranking this week, jumping all the way to #6, while Arizona State, SMU, Notre Dame, Duke (T-10), and Louisville (T-10) all earned a spot in the Top-10.

BYU (#6), Colorado State (#21), Oregon State (#22), Vanderbilt (#23), and Tennessee (#25) all joined the ranking while Illinois, Ole Miss, Southern California, Stanford, and West Virginia all fell from the poll this week.
