NORMAN, Okla. ? The Palmer Cup, a premier competition highlighting the world?s best collegiate golfers, will be presented by Monster at Cassique Golf Club in Kiawah Island, S.C., on July 7-11. The prestigious Ryder Cup-style event, a competition between the top collegiate men?s players in the United States and Europe, elevates the level of collegiate and amateur golf around the world. This annual competition will be played at the distinguished Cassique Golf Club courtesy of Monster Worldwide, Inc., (NASDAQ: MNST), the leading global online careers property.

Former collegiate stars - including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Tiger Woods and the competition?s namesake, Arnold Palmer - went on win their PGA Tour cards and claim numerous major championships. Today?s Palmer Cup presented by Monster collegiate stars may become the top PGA Tour draws of tomorrow. The event rotates between U.S. courses and European courses.

"We are delighted to be the presenting sponsor of the Palmer Cup and are happy to support the best young golfers in the game today," said Andrew J. McKelvey, Chairman and CEO of Monster Worldwide, Inc. "The Monster brand is a natural fit for these fine student-athletes and the over 700 colleges that the Golf Coaches Association of America represent."

Competition is expected to be fierce this year as all of Europe will be competing against the U.S. In previous years, the competition featured players from Great Britain and Ireland versus the U.S. but has now expanded - much like the Ryder Cup - to include the whole of Europe. The U.S. team leads the series, 4-1-1, and has won all three matches played in the United States.

The Palmer Cup Presented by Monster will be televised by The Golf Channel and on BSKYB.

The United States team will be highlighted by 2003 Ben Hogan Award recipient and two-time All-American Hunter Mahan of Oklahoma State. Joining Mahan on the U.S. squad will be U.S. Public Links champ Ryan Moore of UNLV and two-time PING All-American Bill Haas of Wake Forest, as well as All-America and all-conference selections Dustin Bray (North Carolina), Jason Hartwick (Texas), Adam Rubinson (TCU), Brandt Snedeker (Vanderbilt) and Peter Tomasulo (California).

The European team will consist of Alejandro Ca?izares and Gonzalo Casta?o of Spain; Sweden?s P?r Nilsson and Wilhelm Schauman; and David Inglis, David Price, David Skinns and Oliver Wilson of the United Kingdom. Ca?izares (Arizona State), Inglis (Tulsa), Nilsson (Oklahoma State), Schauman (Minnesota), Skinns (Tennessee) and Wilson (Augusta State) compete collegiately in the United States
