Oglethorpe Remains Top Team in Division III Golf World/NIKE Golf Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY ? The first Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Oglethorpe takes over sole possession of the number one spot, earning 11 of the 13 first-place votes.

The Petrels won twice in the fall and finished no worse than third in five fall tournaments. They open their spring season at the Callaway Collegiate Classic (March 2). Rounding out the top-five are Methodist (No. 2), Huntington (No. 3), Saint John?s (Minn.) (No.4), and Gustavus Adolphus (No. 5).

Joining the top-25 are Otterbein (No. 24) and Hope (No. 25).
