Arkansas Tech Holds on to No. 1 Ranking Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. — For the second straight ranking Arkansas Tech held a slim lead atop Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll. The Wonder Boys claimed 12 first-place votes.
Arkansas Tech nipped second-ranked Barry by three points - 447-444. The Buccaneers received six of the seven remaining first-place votes. Lynn stayed at No. 3 while West Florida dropped to fourth. Lincoln Memorial each moved up one spot to fifth and sixth, respectively. Georgia Southwestern fell two rungs to No, 7 and was followed by South Carolina Aiken and Central Missouri. Indianapolis climbed one place to crack the top 10.
Four squads made their rankings debut this season - Midwestern State (#19), Newberry (#22), Findlay (#24), and Delta State (#25). Limestone, North Georgia, Washburn, and Young Harris dropped from the top 25.
