Methodist is First Fall 2022 Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll’s No. 1

NORMAN, Okla. - After winning the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship by eight strokes in, Methodist is No. 1 in the first Fall 2022 Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll. The Monarchs received 13 first-place votes in the process.   

Emory (one first-place vote), Huntingdon, Carnegie Mellon, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (one first-place vote) round out the top five. Wittenberg, Illinois Wesleyan, Sewanee, Christopher Newport, and Hampden-Sydney complete the top 10.

Others receiving votes included Concordia (TX), York (PA), Gustavus Adolphus, Saint John’s (MN), Trinity (TX), Lynchburg, RPI, Averett, McMurry, Hope, Dallas, Skidmore, Pomona-Pitzer, Franklin & Marshall, Redlands, LeTourneau, Southwestern (TX), Transylvania, Gettysburg, Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Texas Lutheran, and Rhodes.
