Mississippi Gulf Coast Back at No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – Mississippi Gulf Coast claimed five first-place votes to reclaim No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Bulldogs were ranked first in the preseason poll.

Previous No. 1 South Mountain received three first-place votes but dropped to second. The top 10 behind Mississippi Gulf Coast and South Mountain stayed largely intact with Kirkwood, Tyler JC, Meridian, Murray State (OK), and Parkland again slotted in Nos. 3-7. Mesa and Black Hawk each moved one spot to Nos. 8 and 9, respectively. Walters State fell two rungs to No. 10.

The final fall Bushnell Golfweek Coaches poll will be released Nov. 16.

Oklahoma City Keeps Top Spot in Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – Okahoma City received nine first-place votes to stay No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll. It marked the eighth straight poll the Stars have held the top spot.

Texas Wesleyan stood pat at second. Coastal Georgia moved up one rung and collected the remaining first-place ballot. Rocky Mountain was fourth and followed by Keiser, Northwestern Ohio, and British Columbia. South Carolina Beaufort jumped up seven spots to No. 8. Ninth-ranked Taylor and Dalton State completed the top 10.

Six teams - Morningside (#17), Missouri Valley (#18), Marymount (CA) (#19), Mount Mercy (#23), Truett-McConnell (#24), and Indiana Wesleyan (#25) - debuted in the ranking. Cardinal Stritch, Oregon Tech, Our Lady of the Lake, Park (MO), and Southeastern (FL) fell from the top 25.

The final fall Bushnell Golfweek Coaches poll will be released Nov. 16.

Midland Stays No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – For the third-straight ranking Midland holds on to the No. 1 ranking in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll. The Chaps received three first-place votes.

Indian Hills received two first-place votes and ranked second. Third-ranked Eastern Florida State tallied the remaining first-place ballot. New Mexico JC was fourth and followed by Iowa Western, Central Alabama, and Odessa. Ranger and Western Texas tied for eighth. Hutchinson checked in at No. 10.

Dodge City dropped from the ranking.

Emory Unanimous No. 1 in Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – Emory was a unanimous selection to hold on to the No. 1 ranking the Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Eagles received 18 first-place votes.

Huntingdon moved up a spot to second while Illinois Wesleyan climbed two rungs to third. Wittenberg stayed at No. 4. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps checked in at No. 5 and was followed by Guilford, Methodist, Washington & Lee, Southwestern (TX), and Hope.

Redlands reentered the ranking at No. 15 while Hampden-Sydney (#18), Chapman (#19), Pacific Lutheran (#21), Babson, (#22), Whitworth (#23), and Wisconsin-Eau Claire debuted in the top 25. Berry, California Lutheran, La Verne, Oglethorpe, Otterbein, Sewanee, and Transylvania dropped from the Ranking.
