NEW YORK, NY—The final Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches’ Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the November 22 issue of Golf World. Guilford's third victory of the fall at the Tom & Bettie O’Brient Memorial helped the Quakers keep their top ranking in the final Division III coaches’ poll of the season.
Guilford claimed 13 of the 16 first-place votes.
Huntingdon stayed in the No. 2 spot while Saint John’s (Minn.) (No. 3) traded places with Methodist (No. 4). LaVerne moved into the No. 5 slot.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (No. 10) moved into the top-10, after being ranked No. 11 in the previous coaches’ poll.
Wisconsin-Eau Claire (No. 24) and Whittier (No. 25) joined the top-25.
