NEW YORK, NY—The latest Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches’ Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and III, will appear in the February 28, 2011 issue of Golf World. Oklahoma Christian, with victories at the UST Mamiya Texas Intercollegiate and the Midwestern State Invitational, climbed to the No. 1 ranking in the Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA coaches’ poll for the first time during the 2010-11 season, claiming seven of the 10 first-place votes.

Previous No. 1 Oklahoma City, dropped to No. 2 in the poll, earning the last three first-place votes. The Stars were seventh in the UST event, but have won four team titles during the season.

Grand View, USC-Beaufort and Malone round of the top five, while No. 8 Southern Nazarene and No. 10 SCAD-Savannah are the two new programs in the top 10.

No new teams moved into the top 25.
