(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the November 7, 2011 issue of Golf World.  Victories at the Golfweek Fall Invitational and the O’Briant-Jensen Memorial gave Guilford the No. 1 ranking in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division III coaches’ poll.

The Quakers earned 15 of the 19 available first-place votes to move from No. 4 in the previous poll.

Illinois Wesleyan, Methodist, UT-Tyler and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps round out the top five of the poll. Previous No. 1 Greensboro remains in the poll, coming in at No. 12.

Five new teams joined the top 25: No. 13 St. John Fisher, No. 20 Linfield, No. 21 La Grange, No. 22 Rhodes and Trinity U. (Texas), which claimed a share of the No. 24 spot.
