(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, III and III, will appear in the November 7, 2011 issue of Golf World. Oklahoma Christian, with a win at the Texoma Championship and top-four finishes in two Division I tournaments, retained the top spot in the Golf World/Nike Golf men’s NAIA coaches’ poll.
The Eagles, last year’s NAIA national champions, earned eight of the 14 available first-place votes to hold the position, one they’ve held since the 2011-12 preseason poll.
Grand View, Lee, Texas Wesleyan and Johnson & Wales round out the top five of the poll.
One school joined the top-10 this week: No. 10 Northwood (Fla.), which had previously been unranked. The only other school to join the top 25 was No. 24 William Woods.
