(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf Worldmagazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, III, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the April 16, 2012 issue of Golf World. Two straight victories at the Bobcat Intercollegiate and the Buccaneer helped Barry remain the top ranked squad in the Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division II college coaches’ poll.
The Buccaneers have three victories on the season along with four runner-up performances to help them earn 11 of the 16 first-place votes.
Some shake up in the top five included Nova Southeastern jumping up to No. 2, while North Alabama moved to No. 3. Rounding out the top five are CSU-Stanislaus and Chico State.
New to the top 10 is UNC Pembroke at No. 10. New to the top 25 are Rollins at No. 23 and Wingate at No. 25.
