(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III, and NJCAA will appear in the April 30, 2012 issue of Golf World. Oklahoma Christian claimed 10 of the 12 available first-place votes to secure the No. 1 ranking in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf men’s NAIA coaches’ poll.
The Eagles have had nine top-three finishes in 10 starts, having claimed five team titles in 2011-12.
Oklahoma City maintained its No. 2 ranking, earning one first-place vote. Texas Wesleyan also held steady at No. 3.
Rounding out the top five is Grand View and British Columbia.
One new team moved into the top 10: No. 7 Point Loma Nazarene. Two new schools moved into the top 25: Holy Names and Southwestern, each tying for the No. 24 spot.
