NEW YORK, NY - The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DI College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Central Alabama, receiving five of the eight first-place votes, took over the No. 1 ranking in the second Golf World/Nike Golf men's NJCAA DI coaches' poll of the spring.
The Trojans won all five starts in the fall and have claimed a sixth title in its latest start, the Goosepond Fling, to earn five of the eight first-place votes and a narrow 73-70 edge on No. 2 McLennan.
No new teams moved into the top-5, while Midland (#6) and Wallace State (#10) were new entries into the top-10.
