(NEW YORK, NY) — The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the November 28, 2011 issue of Golf World. Guilford College, winner of two fall titles, retained the top spot in the final Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division III coaches’ poll of the fall.
The Quakers claimed the team title at the Golfweek Fall Invitational and the O’Briant-Jensen Memorial and earned 13 of the 15 available first-place votes.
In the No. 2 spot was Illinois Wesleyan, which claimed the remaining two first-place votes. The Titans won twice this fall and finished second in their other three tournaments.
Texas-Tyler, Methodist and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps round of the top five of the poll.
No new schools appear in the top 10. New to the top 25 is Manhattanville, which finished in the No. 25 spot.
