(NEW YORK, NY)—The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches’ Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the May 23, 2011 issue of Golf World. After claiming the NCAA title last week, Greensboro College closed the 2010-11 season as the top ranked team in the final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III men’s coaches’ poll.

The Pride, which last won the NCAA title in 2000, won this year’s national championship after shooting a 15-over 1,167 to defeat Illinois Wesleyan by six strokes at North Carolina’s Grandover Resort.

The remainder of the D-III poll reflects the results of the national championship.
