(NEW YORK, NY) — The Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DII College Preseason Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, III and the NAIA, will appear in the September 5, 2011 issue of Golf World. South Mountain can boast of holding the No. 1 ranking in the first NJCAA D-II preseason coaches' poll.
The Cougars claimed five of the seven first-place votes available.
John A. Logan, last year's NJCAA DII champion, is the second ranked team, receiving the other two first place votes. Rounding out the top five are Mesa, Tyler and Mott.
