(NEW YORK, NY)—The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA Division II Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III and NAIA will appear in the September 30, 2013 issue of Golf World. South Mountain remainded the top ranked team in the NJCAA DII poll, claiming six first-place votes.
The Cougars will open their season this weekend at the High Country Shootout in Ruidoso, NM.
Walters State, ranked second, received the other available first-place vote and started the season with a second-place finish at the Wasioto Winds Fall Kick-Off and a third at the Tusculum Fall Classic.
John A. Logan, Mississippi Gulf Coast and Tyler Junior College round out the top-5.
No new teams entered the ranking this week.
