(NEW YORK, NY)—The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf Worldmagazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III and NJCAA will appear in the December 9, 2013 issue of Golf World. Winning three straight events to close out the first half of the 2013-14 college campaign, Wayland Baptist jumped to the No. 1 spot in the final Golf World/Nike Golf men's NAIA coaches' poll.

The Pioneers, ranked No. 5 in the previous poll, earned all 10 first-place votes to become the unanimous top selection.

Oklahoma City, the defending NAIA champion and No. 1 in the three previous Golf World polls from the fall, dropped to No. 2 after finishing second to Wayland Baptist at the U.C. Ferguson Classic in October.

Also rising into the top five in the final fall poll were No. 3 Grand View (up from sixth), No. 4 College of Coastal Georgia (from 11th) and Oklahoma Baptist (from seventh).

One new program joined the top 10: No. 9 Webber International. Two new schools joined the top 25: No. 12 Southern Wesleyan and No. 25 Holy Cross College.
