(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA Division II College Coaches’ Poll of the Spring 2014 season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA Division I will appear in the March 31, 2014 issue of Golf World. South Mountain remained the No. 1 program in the second spring edition of the Golf World/Nike Golf men's NJCAA Division II college coaches' poll.

The Cougars were victorious earlier this month at the Mesa Thunderbird Classic and earned five first-place votes.

Walters State JC received the other remaining first-place vote and remained second in the ranking.

No new teams entered the top-5 while Murray State (#T9) was the only new entrant to the ranking.
