NORMAN, Okla. – Mesa received two first-place votes to stay tops in the GCAA NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. Mesa shared the top spot with Walters State in the preseason but stand alone at the top in the first regular season poll.
A total of five teams received first place votes. Second-ranked South Mountain, No. 4 Mississippi Gulf Coast and No. 6 Darton State earned one first-place vote each while third-ranked Walters State claimed two first-place ballots.
Andrew debuted at No. 10 where it replaced Grand Rapids, who fell from the ranking.
