NORMAN, Okla. – Nova Southeastern received six first-place votes to knock Barry out of the top spot in the GCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Sharks were previously ranked second.
Barry still received the most first-place votes with eight but share the No. 2 ranking with South Carolina-Aiken, who received three first place votes. Chico State checks in at No. 4 while CSU-Monterey Bay completed the top five. The biggest movers in the poll were West Georgia and Erskine who went from unraked to Nos. 12 and 14, respectively. North Greenville, Limestone and Wingate are also new to this weeks ranking and occupy slots 22 and tied for 23.
CSU-Stanislaus (#12), Colorado-Colorado Springs (#23), Missouri-St. Louis (#22), St. Edward’s (#21), Western New Mexico (#15) fell out of the top 25.
