NORMAN, Okla. – Defending NJCAA Division II Champion South Mountain held on to the No. 1 ranking in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. South Mountain received four first-place votes and have been No. 1 for the last 10 rankings, dating back to last season.
Second-ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast received one first-place votes. Tyler stayed at No. 3 where it was joined by Meridian, who claimed the three remaining first place votes. Mesa dropped a spot to fifth and is followed by Walters State, Kirkwood and Owens. Newcomers East Central and Murray State (OK) debuted at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.
Kansas City Kansas and Rend Lake dropped from the ranking.
