NORMAN, Okla. – Despite receiving only two first-place votes, Mississippi Gulf Coast is back at No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Bulldogs were ranked first in the first three polls of the season.
Previous No. 1 South Mountain dropped a spot despite earning four first-place ballots. Murray State (OK), who tallied the final first-place vote, and Tyler JC are tied for third. Meridian stood pat at No. 5 and was followed by Kirkwood, Mesa, Parkland, and Walters State. Abraham Wallace entered the ranking at No. 10.
East Central dropped from the ranking.
The next Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll will be released March 30.
