NORMAN, Okla. – Defending national champion Methodist opens the season ranked first in the Division III Bushnell Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll. The Monarchs received 14 first-place votes.
In addition to Methodist, three other teams tallied first-place votes - second-ranked Emory, No. 7 Illinois Wesleyan, and eighth-ranked Concordia (TX). Huntindon ranked third and was followed by Guilford, Washington, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Ninth-ranked Hope and St. Thomas (MN), rounded out the top 10.
