Pairings Set for First Round of Palmer Cup Presented by Monster
Teams tee off at 8 a.m. in four-ball Matches
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. ? Pairings for the morning four-ball matches have been set for the 2003 Palmer Cup presented by Monster. The first tee time is set for 8 a.m. This annual competition will be played at the distinguished Cassique at The Kiawah Island Club courtesy of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST), the parent company of Monster, the leading global online careers property.
The first four-ball match will be contested between first-team PING All-Americans Bill Haas and Chris Nallen of the United States and three-time PING All-America selection Oliver Wilson and Outback Steakhouse Arnold Palmer Award winner Alejandro Ca?izares for Team Europe. The second match will pit first-team PING All-American recipients Dustin Bray and Brandt Snedeker from Team USA against Spanish Amateur Champion Gonzolo Fdez.-Casta?o and two-time PING All-American David Inglis of Europe. Wales National Champion David Price and David Skinns of Europe will face PING All-Americans Adam Rubinson and Peter Tomasulo in the third match. In the final match of the morning, PING All-Americans Jason Hartwick and Ryan Moore of Team USA will square off against P?r Nilsson and Wilhelm Schauman of Team Europe.
Pairings for the afternoon singles matches will submitted by the respective coaches during play Thursday morning.
