Taylor NAIA Winner of Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation

SALEM, Ore. – Julian Taylor of William Woods has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in NAIA men’s golf.

Taylor won three tournaments this season - the Siena Homewood Suites Invitational, Missouri Intercollegiate and the Show-Me Summer Shootout. In addition to the wins he claimed two other top-five finishes and did not finish outside of the top 20 in nine tournaments this season.

Joss Gosling of Northwood (Texas), British Columbia’s Conner Kozak, Jose Pablo Rolz of Texas Wesleyan and Shorter’s Patric Sundlof joined Taylor on the All-Freshmen Team.
