Oklahoma Christian No. 1 in GCAA/Bridgestone Coaches Poll
Defending champ Oklahoma City ranked second
NORMAN, Okla. ? Oklahoma Christian earned the top ranking in the fall NAIA GCAA/Bridgestone Coaches Poll by claiming all 10 first-place votes. Defending national champion Oklahoma City received every second-place vote to garner the No. 2 ranking.
British Columbia ranked third and was followed by Concordia, Lee and Wayland Baptist. St. Ambrose checked in at No. 7 while Point Loma, Texas Wesleyan and Malone filled slots eight through 10.
Holy Names began the second 10. Northwood was ranked No. 12 and Johnson & Wales and CSU-San Marcos were 13th and 14th, respectively. Berry came in at No. 15 and was followed by Missouri Baptist, California Baptist, Lindenwood and CSU-East Bay.
Mobile, The Master?s College, Oklahoma Baptist, Victoria and Lewis & Clark completed the top 25.
The GCAA/Bridgestone Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at NAIA institutions. All are members of the Golf Coaches Association of America. The next GCAA/Bridgestone Coaches Poll will be released in the spring.
