Methodist Remains Number One
NEW YORK, NY?The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Methodist remains number one, earning six of the eight first-place votes. The Monarchs, having won their last two tournaments (the Emory Invitational and the USA South Conference Championship), began play yesterday at the Division III NCAA Championship. They will be going for their tenth title in school history.
Rounding out the top five are: Guilford (No.2); St. John?s (Minn.) (No.3), Oglethorpe (No.4); Huntingdon (No.5).
