Huntingdon Retains Top Spot in Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches' Poll
NEW YORK, NY?The fourth Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the April 27th issue of Golf World. Huntingdon continues to hold on to the top position in the D-III poll, earning 12 of the 17 first-place votes. The Hawks won their seventh tournament title of the season last week at the Fred B. Kravetz Invitational.
Rounding out the top-five are Methodist (No. 2), Skidmore (No. 3), Oglethorpe (No. 4) and LaVerne (No. 5).
There are no new teams in the top-10. Olivet (No. 22) and California Lutheran (No. 24) moved into the top-25.
