Oklahoma City Retains Top Spot in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY?The first Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and III, will appear in the March 1 issue of Golf World

Oklahoma City remains the number one team in the poll, earning seven of the 12 first-place votes.

The Stars finished fifth in their first spring event, the SNU Arizona Intercollegiate, after winning three of four fall tournaments.

Rounding out the top-five are SCAD (No. 2), Oklahoma Christian (No. 3), USC-Beaufort (No. 4) and Johnson & Wales (No. 5).
 
Grand View (No. 10) moved into the top-10, after being ranked No. 11 in the previous coaches? poll.

University of the Southwest (No. 22), Shorter (No. 23) and Thomas (No. 24) moved into the top-25.
